This one pops up like a tent — sprung frame, open in a few seconds, flat again just as fast — and that is the whole reason a product like this earns its keep. Thirty-six and a half inches long, twenty-one wide and twenty-one high, rated to forty pounds of dog. Mesh panels on the front and side for ventilation and sightlines, a zipped door, and seatbelt straps so it is actually restrained in a moving vehicle rather than sliding about the boot.
