No. The bamboo is pulped and chemically regenerated into a cellulose fibre, which is why the listing says viscose derived from bamboo rather than bamboo. It behaves like a soft, cool rayon, because that is what it is.
Can it go in the dryer?
Low heat and a low spin, and it will be fine. Viscose loses strength while it is wet, so wringing it out or spinning it hard is the thing that damages a blanket like this, not the drying itself.
